UNANIMOUS is a basketball build-a-player game. This page explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: there's no account, no email or password, and nothing is sold to anyone.
You never sign up, log in, or provide an email address, phone number, or real name. Your profile handle and jersey number are whatever you type in — the app doesn't verify or link them to your identity.
By default, everything lives locally on your device only:
None of this leaves your device unless you use an online feature described below. Deleting the app deletes all of it. The "Leave the League" button in the Locker tab clears your local profile immediately.
If you use the shared leaderboard, series matchmaking, or sharing a built player, the app talks to our backend (Supabase). Specifically:
Turning your device offline or never using these features means none of this is ever sent. Content already posted to the public leaderboard isn't automatically removed when you clear your local profile — contact us (below) if you'd like something you posted taken down.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob to keep it free. Ads are non-personalized only — the app never requests your Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) and never shows a tracking permission prompt, because it isn't asking for one. Google's ad infrastructure still processes standard technical signals (like IP address) to deliver ads, cap how often you see one, and prevent fraud, the same as any ad-supported app. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles that. If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent prompt before any ads load.
UNANIMOUS doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children. There's no account system and nothing you enter is verified against a real identity, by design.
Player statistics used for gameplay are historical, publicly available performance data, used for gameplay purposes only. UNANIMOUS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NBA.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change too. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
